I bought my first Syma S107G Remote Controlled model helicopter in December 2010 for the princely sum of £24.99 including postage. It is still flying today, almost 13 years later, although it has had many replacement parts fitted over the years!

Since that first purchase I have bought and sold many different makes and models of R/C helicopters but this one remains a firm favourite.

The purpose of this site is to pass on information and hints and tips for restoring and repairing the Syma S107G helicopter which I hope will be useful to other owners. It is a well made model which is still available new today together with a wide range of spare parts to keep it flying.

Due to its popularity it has been widely copied over the years with the inevitable result that there are some replica and fake versions in circulation. The models featured in this guide are to the best of my knowledge all genuine Syma S107G helicopters but the repair techniques may well apply to replica or similar models.
